Please join us! The virtual Jane Addams Branch invites you and all those interested in WILPF principles to our monthly open meeting, with our guest speaker AND YOU!
Register in advance for the Jane Addams Branch event using this link.
ONE WEEK FROM TODAY (and every month on the third Wednesday!):
Wednesday, September 18, at 5 pm PT / 6 pm MT / 7 pm CT/ 8 pm ET
Featuring:
Tina D. Shelton speaking on What is important for WILPFers to know about Project 2025?
Many of us learned about Project 2025 weeks ago, as news of it was coming out. But as a non-partisan organization, how can we spread the news of what we know and stay within the guidelines of our WILPF structure – “talk about policies, not parties!”? All while avoiding information overload, overwhelm, and despair!
Tina is one of the two At-large Board members and a leader in the Greater Philadelphia Branch.
AND The Trillion Dollar Silencer: Why There Is So Little Anti-War Protest in the United States – a brief discussion of this book by Joan Roelofs.
In preparation for next Wednesday, try to familiarize yourself with Project 2025 and/or Joan Roelofs’s book. Regardless, come and learn about both.
Join our interactive Zoom WILPF US event! Register in advance for the September Jane Addams Branch event using this link.
After the presentation there will be a short time for Q&A. We’ll welcome announcements – from Board members, issue committee chairs, branch leaders and everyone else.
If you have any question about anything WILPF, this is your chance to ask it!
Zoom in and hear about what is happening in WILPF US! Tell us about what YOU (and/or your branch) are doing]!
