BUILD YOUR DIGITAL LITERACY SKILLS

Are you or your staff looking for a way to build digital literacy skills that will help enhance your work practices? Google’s Applied Digital Skills is an online, project-based learning curriculum where participants watch videos with step-by-step instructions on how to build digital projects using Google apps. Over 200 asynchronous Google Applied Digital Skills lessons are now available on-demand in the PD Portal.

Interested staff can search and view the Google Applied Digital Skills lessons. Lessons can be filtered by audience, digital tool, topic, and type. To receive PD credit for these lessons, participants must register for the course in the PD Portal, complete their pre-approved Google Applied Digital Skills lesson, apply what they learned in their practice, and complete a reflection worksheet. The number of PD hours awarded will vary but will range from 2.5 hrs to 10.5 hrs depending on the lesson selected. Please contact Chuck Klinger, cklinger@tiu11.org, with any questions.
