Sweater Weather

I stretched out my birthday celebration by a week with one last camping trip of 2025 to Jalama Beach Park. The sunset and morning sun were wonderful and just what I needed before the rains arrived. I told Beverly how lucky we are to be camping at the beach in November!

It was definitely cooler weather, which reminded me of this SNL skit about Sweater Weather!

I'm excited to spend this coming Saturday at the SoCal Fiber Fair. Nancy Bates is one of the organizers of this fiber celebration and the ticket purchase includes a free beanie pattern!

I've been working with Celeste Ward from Make It A Good Daisy to create some fun stickers exclusively for Ball & Skein. I'm totally in love with the newest "All You Knit Is Love" sticker that was a collaboration between Celeste, her dad, several shop employees, Dr. Kathy, and myself.

Each sticker is professionally printed on thick, durable vinyl in Cambria, CA. They're weatherproof, UV resistant, scratch resistant and dishwasher safe and can be applied to computers, water bottles, mugs, notebooks or anywhere that needs a happy thought.

Learn a New Skill - Join Us for a Class or Workshop

Tomorrow morning (Monday November 17th) is the final workshop of 2025...the Christmas Crochet Workshop with Mariam meets @ 10AM. It's not too late to sign up or just show up @ the shop at 10 AM.
