PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

World Alzheimer's Month: Turning Awareness into Action

Dear friend,

As we honor September as World Alzheimer’s Month, I am deeply grateful for all the progress made in Alzheimer’s research and prevention.

Reflecting on our ARPF Greatest Hits Docuseries, I am reminded of how deeply lifestyle habits shape our long-term brain health. We brought together landmark presentations from pioneering experts who have dedicated their careers to studying the brain. While some of these sessions were recorded years ago, their insights remain remarkably timeless – and just as critical today:

  • We learned from Kristine Weber, MA, C-IAYT, E-RYT500, about The Neuroscience of Yoga, which was a masterpiece.

  • We heard from Nancy Emerson Lombardo, PhD, on Herbs and Spices for Brain Health, still an under-discussed topic.

  • We explored the effects of music on cognition, movement, and speech with Dale B. Taylor, PhD, a true pioneer in music therapy who taught us that “music fills the brain."

  • We reviewed one of my own lectures, never before shown to the public, about why Alzheimer’s treatment now equals prevention.

“There is so much value in what ARPF has to offer. I have always stepped away from one of your programs feeling better educated and empowered to improve my wellness! Thank you, ARPF team, for bringing wonderful experts in various Brain Health fields.” - Amy

Feedback like this drives our commitment to spread hope, education, empowerment, and brain health awareness.

We rely on your partnership to keep this momentum going. Please consider donating today – together, we are making a profound difference in people’s lives. See all the ways you can support ARPF here.

Yours in Brain Health,

Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D.

"Excellent presentation - he made it understandable. I loved his approach and learned a lot. I enjoyed the brief exercises where I quickly experienced something new."

"It was an insightful presentation, and I'm glad there is a recording of it. I'm looking forward to reviewing it to integrate and deepen my understanding."

"Thank you so much. I felt a real draw when I read about this class. It must have been my higher self urging me on."
