We are pleased to be partnering with Cebu International School, Philippines to find their next Superintendent.
The School
Cebu International School (CIS) is a progressive, multicultural, self-perpetuating, board-governed, day and boarding school (Early Years – Grade 12) that is conveniently located in the leafy suburbs of Cebu City, central Philippines.
We have a diverse population of approximately 238 students (~330 prior to the pandemic), with 27 different nationalities represented in our student body. Our faculty is similarly diverse, with our faculty coming from 13 different countries. CIS offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) in EY-G5, the IB Middle Years Programme MYP) in G6-10, and the IB Diploma Programme (DP) in G11-12.

Position Overview
The Superintendent is the overall school administrator. He/She is directly responsible to the Board of Trustees in all aspects of the school operations. He/she must advise the Board on policies and conform with them, particularly in regard to administrative, educational, personnel, fiscal, and community relations. The Superintendent also undertakes fiscal, construction, contractual, legal, strategic planning, accreditation, and labor concerns.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- 5 - 7 years of leadership experience
- Relevant leadership experience - Head of School / Deputy Head of School / Divisional Principal / Director of Teaching and Learning etc.
- Experienced with IB
- Experienced working in a small non-profit school environment
