Research Manager completes credential recertification
Research Manager Laurie Mejia was recertified as a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) by the Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) in December 2020. The certification is the culmination of rigorous testing and education, including 80 contact hours of continuing education. Read more.
The Alpha Phi Alpha Foundation has elected MSW alumnus Charles Greene as its new chairman. The foundation was created by the Eta Tau Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. to provide financial assistance to nonprofit organizations that service and support the minority community in Greater Akron. Justice Scholars program recognized
On March 2, the 2021 Community Engaged Scholarship Forum recognized the people and groups recipients of the Partnerships of Distinction honor including the Justice Scholars Institute a program that provides courses for college credit, workshops that help students understand the expectations of the college environment, and real-world learning experiences that engage the youth in their community.
