EPA and ICMA gathered the Local Planning Committee in Salt Lake City to officially kick-off planning for Brownfields 2027! It was an incredibly productive day of mapping out key elements of the conference, including brainstorming priorities for the educational programming and mobile workshops, and touring the conference space.

We’re excited to continue collaborating with this talented group of experienced brownfields professionals as we work together to make the 2027 conference our best yet.

The 2027 National Brownfields Conference Call for Ideas is open!

Submit your ideas for dynamic educational sessions that explore the latest and greatest tools, methods, trends and case studies in brownfields redevelopment and revitalization.

Grow America and ICMA are hosting a new in-person training series for EPA Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) grantees nationwide.

Hosted in four different regions, this hands-on workshop series brings the Brownfields RLF teams together for focused learning, practical exercises, and peer-to-peer exchange. Each of these workshops will take place over a day and a half and will provide attendees with core knowledge on working effectively with developers, project pipeline development, underwriting approaches, and RLF process and policies.
