Kyran Anderson Academy's Summer 2023 Session, Food x Chemistry, will teach students abut the chemicals that makeup the food we eat, the chemical and physical processes we use to change food, and how what we eat effects more than just our bodies.

In this nutrient and knowledge packaged program, students will learn about what goes into nutritional content, begin understanding what makes food healthy and unhealthy, and the environmental impact of how we eat and process foods.

All programming will now be taking place at our new home, The Science House in The Cherry Building on NC State's Centennial East Campus.

Kyran Anderson Academy is a summer enrichment program for elementary school students that introduces them to the world of STEM careers, with a particular emphasis on reaching out to traditionally underserved students in the STEM disciplines. Program cost is $225, but early registrants receive a discount on registration fees.
