The Low Impact Hydropower Institute has issued a final decision on the recertification of the Jordanelle Hydroelectric Project. This project is located on the Provo River in Utah.
The preliminary decision was announced on December 4, 2023 starting the 30-day appeal window. That window closed on January 3, 2024 and no appeals were filed. Therefore, the decision to recertify the project is now final. The new term for the project is June 10, 2023 through June 9, 2033.
