Show Me the Money
Our second meeting of the Ossining DPW Site Redevelopment ENGAGEMENT SERIES will explain the project's financial implications for developing affordable multi-family housing. You can expect to learn about the impact of a PILOT (Payment in Lieu of Taxes) agreement, as well as how revenue generated is different for an affordable development rather than market rate housing, both for the developer and for the community. We will also discuss the proposed commercial component of the building, and how it could become a tax revenue generator and stabilizer for the entire Station Plaza neighborhood.
