Greetings...and welcome to the May, 2023 Newsletter. I hope this month's edition finds you well, and enjoying your Spring.
Our apologies for skipping April's news, but unfortunately our inbound photography samples for the D.C. Tillers were destroyed during a US Customs Inspection, making it impossible to feature pictures of the new releases. It also put us in a bind on our release schedule and we needed to target all resources to adjusting our workflow. But here we are, back in the swing of things as we will continue to build momentum through the rest of the year.
Last month we released the FDNY's 1996 HME Rescues and Washington D.C. Fire & EMS Seagrave Tillers. Both releases have been quite popular and only a handful of some station rigs are still available. This month we'll begin accepting orders for the FDNY Spartan and Mack MR Collapse Units and our first releases for L.A. City Fire Department...the Crown/Holmes Heavy Utility. Scroll down for pictures.
We have moved! It has been 6 months in the making, but our larger warehouse and shipping facility is nearly complete and we now have plenty of room for new department releases and an upcoming new product line. More updates to come in future months!
The first shipment to arrive in our new facility will be the new FDNY Seagrave Engines, FDNY HME Rescues and D.C. Tillers. We expect this shipment in late May or early June. As mentioned previously, we've changed our logistics schedule to offset the unsustainable price increases in the shipping industry. So our arrivals will space out a bit more, with more product on each shipment. Thanks for your patience!
Our list of Low Stocks is growing...with over 70 replicas now with 10 or less remaining. Remember, nearly every Fire Replicas models is hard set at a limited production quantity and not to be reproduced.
An update...Fire Replicas Review - Issue 4 is still in development, but unfortunately off pace this year. We've been so busy with other critical work that we're behind on the details needed for this book. But we'll keep at it and release it for printing as soon as possible.
Keep scrolling for more updates and as always, thank you again for being part of an elite group of fire apparatus collectors!
