The Prayer to St. Joseph

Great St. Joseph, to whose will the Savior subjected himself,

obtain for me the grace to subject myself in all things to the will of God.

Please Continue to Pray, the Prayer to St. Peregrine, the patron saint of those battling cancer, for CCHS faculty member and dance coach, Jennifer Schexnayder Taylor '96.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of Jennifer Taylor whom we entrust to you. Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

Important Information for Students Taking the SAT on Saturday, March 14th.

  • Check your computer and confirm that the "BlueBook" application is installed on your CCHS MacBook. If it is not, see Mr. Hicks in the library before the end of the day on Friday, March 13th.
  • On Saturday morning of the test, arrive for the SAT by 7:45 AM to allow yourself time to check into the testing center. Doors will open at 7:30 AM and the test starts promptly at 8:00 AM. This is a large administration. Arriving early allows us to begin on time. Students who arrive late will not be allowed to test.
  • Bring your printed SAT entry ticket and photo ID and your fully-charged computer. Acceptable forms of photo ID are current year Student ID, valid Driver's License, or a Passport. You may print your ticket once you log into the BlueBook application on your computer and go through the preliminary terms for the test on Saturday. Failure to bring any one of these items will result in dismissal from the test center. There are no loaner computers available for those who forget their computer.
  • Make sure to charge your computer the night before the SAT. Opportunities to charge your computer while testing will be limited, and may hinder the completion of your test. Having a full charge when you arrive will alleviate this issue.
  • One final note - if you are taking your SAT test here at CCHS, you will use your Charlotte Catholic issued computer. If, however, you are testing at a site OTHER THAN Catholic, you will need to use a personal device. CMS Schools have already stated that devices with protection and monitoring software such as ours will not work on any of their networks.

Juniors and Seniors who wish to apply for the Honors Portfolio Prep art class or the AP Art class will need to create a digital portfolio and apply by March 13th. More details can be found here: Honors and AP Art

Important Carpool Reminder

Parents: Please do not drop off, pick up, or wait for your student in the Wells Fargo parking lot next to campus. This lot is private property, and the bank has notified us that this has become an ongoing issue. Recently, a Loomis armored truck was blocked and unable to complete its scheduled route, which required a formal report due to federal security protocols.

Thank you for helping us be good neighbors. Please refer to our carpool guidelines for approved drop-off and pick-up procedures.

  • To be recognized, your award letter must include your name and the scholarship amount. Upload one letter per submission.
  • Important: Be sure to save a copy of your award letter before notifying a college that you will not attend—once your portal access ends, you may lose that information.
  • Please note: Scholarship award amounts will not be published, but all scholarships reported will be listed in the graduation program.
  • Don’t wait—submit scholarships as soon as you receive them so we can celebrate your achievements all year long!
