EnviroCert International, Inc. (ECI) is pleased to recognize Ron Ciolfi, CPESC, CIHECP, CPHECP, as the first approved trainer for ECI’s Certified Installer of Hydraulic Erosion Control Products, (CIHECP) program.
Ron brings nearly thirty (30) years of experience in hydroseeding and erosion control to this role. Beginning his career in the industry in 1999, he has developed extensive knowledge of hydroseeding equipment, materials, application techniques, and erosion control practices through decades of work with colleagues, customers, and industry manufacturers. Throughout his career, Ron has also helped others get started in hydroseeding, sharing his knowledge of equipment, materials, and proper application techniques to help professionals succeed in the field.
Ron has also made significant contributions to ECI’s HECP certification programs. He began volunteering with ECI’s HECP Steering Committee in 2020 and became committee chair in 2023. He helped lead a group of experienced industry professionals in developing the CIHECP and CPHECP programs, drawing on their collective knowledge to establish meaningful education and professional standards for the HECP industry.
Ron also served for ten (10) years on the board of the International Association of Hydroseeding Professionals (IAHP), further contributing to the development and professionalism of the industry.
As ECI’s first approved CIHECP trainer, Ron brings that experience and knowledge to the next generation of professionals entering and advancing within the field.
