Trust Your Doc, Get Your Shot
MAFP President Dr. Carlos Latorre, Vicksburg
MAFP President-Elect Dr. Paul Pavlov, Biloxi
MAFP Vice President Dr. Stephen Hammack, Madison
With the numbers rising in COVID cases announced today by the Mississippi State Department of Health, the MAFP wants to help with public awareness.

MAFP wants to be a part of the solution and encourage more Mississippians to be vaccinated. Since 95% of physicians are vaccinated, and physicians are a trusted source of health information, we want to empower you to promote those facts around the state. To that end, MAFP is launching a Trust Your Doc, Get Your Shot campaign on social media.

This campaign will be furthered by MAFP members using our new Facebook profile frame. Find it here on Facebook.

We encourage you to use this text on social media either alone or with the Trust Your Doc, Get Your Shot photo:

You trust your family doctor for the most personal part of life -- your health. 95% of physicians have received the vaccine because we understand it’s safe, it’s effective, and it’s saving lives. I’m asking you: Trust Your Doc, Get Your Shot!
Remember, Your Patients Trust You
We wanted to share this post from Facebook we saw in praise of Clinton family doctor Christy Nohra, because we think it's illustrative of how so many of your patients feel about you all:
