An update on move planning to Classroom and Office Building 1.

Welcome to the third floor of the COB1 building!
A wide variety of upgrades occurred in the Classroom and Office Building 1 (COB1). The majority of the focus was on the third floor and include the following features:
- Four new huddle rooms.
- Two new print/copy rooms.
- One new colloquy space for small symposiums.
- Newly updated breakroom with two microwaves, a refrigerator, and seating.
- Newly updated Willow Conference Room that has been outfitted with whiteboards, new AV (with zoom), and new furnishings.
- New flooring and paint in the common areas.
- New Economics lab and data rooms.
- Modified drinking fountains to include bottle filling.

Office Key Pick-Up
Key return and pick-up will be at the Lock Shop (located in Facilities Services A, same lobby as TAPS). You will need to return your old keys in order to receive your new keys. Lock Shop hours are 11:00am -12:00pm and 2:00pm-3:00pm. These hours apply to campus working days only (not weekends and/or holidays).

Office Moves
Office moves completed last November; however, there were a few individuals who were not moved as they were unable to pack prior to that time or preferred to be present during the move. These last moves are scheduled for Monday, June 14th. Those who are included in this last phase of moves have been notified.

Custodial Services
Custodial services the building daily; however, trash pickup will only be from the centralized trash locations. These locations are classrooms, the break room, and the various three or five compartment trash cans throughout the building. Individual office trash cans will not be emptied, nor were they provided. If you do elect to have one in your office, you will need to empty into one of the listed locations.

Set-Up Your Centralized Printer Access
New printers have been installed and require the use of your CatCard. To utilize the printers you will need to install the CatCard Printer. There will be two options for printing: 1) UCMGlobal (for black and white prints) and 2) UCMColor (for color printing).
Printing fees are as follows: Color is $0.16, per sheet, and B&W is $0.04, per sheet.
There are two print/copy room located on the third floor, in rooms 310 and 374. These spaces are both restricted with card readers and offer storage space for office supplies and printer paper storage. These spaces will also serve as the mail rooms shortly, in the interim please continue to utilize your previous mail locations.

Vacated Spaces
Please ensure that any items left behind, in your old office space, are retrieved or have been submitted to surplus, by following the Surplus Property Process.
All items must be submitted and have Surplus Tags attached, for ease of identification. There should be no items left behind without a tag. For more information, please visit the Surplus Property Overview and/or contact Lori Callaway.
Any items remaining in your old space, that require recycling, should be submitted by way of a work order to Facilities, for pick-up.

Moving Box Clean-Up
Boxes can be placed near the various centralized trash compartment locations throughout the floor. Please ensure boxes are broken down prior to being placed at these locations.
Due to Covid, it is understandable that the unpacking process may be delayed, especially for those who have yet to return to campus.
