As I drove into the office this morning, I couldn't help but reminisce about when I first moved here almost forty years ago, the day after Labor Day. The streets were barren, and my neighbor would tell me how many times I drove by the house. The stores were mostly closed. These 18 miles became a small town. Today, that has changed; much is still open, and the roads are busy. It is still the best time of the year. Water temp. Warm, sun check, rentals cheaper. It truly is better in September.

2023 was a return to a more normal summer. Prices of everything is still too high, but as tenants chose to go overseas again. Our prices will come down.
