Core Virtue of the Month House Challenge:
Virtues of the Month – Courage
Through the month of May we are focusing on acts of Courage - Mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty — A quality of spirit that enables you to face danger of pain without showing fear.
Teachers and staff will be on the lookout to reward students with special Virtue of the Month Virtue Tickets for exhibiting behavior aligned with this Core Virtue. Each Virtue of the Month Ticket earned counts towards 5 points for the students' House.

We have a limited supply of House Shirts on hand. If you need a House shirt for Field Day, contact Mr. Woodbridge (k.woodbridge@scasav.org) to purchase.
Field Day - Friday, May 8th - Get Ready for a Fun-filled Field Day!!!!
- This event is closed to the public. Parents and other non-SCA family members are not permitted to attend.
- Please make sure your child is on time for school (normal reporting time). Once the buses leave for the Field Day location, there is no way to transport students to/from the school.
- You may not drop off nor pick-up your child from the Field Day location.
- All students must be dropped off at Savannah Classical Academy Friday morning during regular arrival time (7:00-7:30am).
- All students must be picked up from the school in the afternoon during the regular dismissal time (3:15-3:45pm).
- Students can bring their lunch from home, or they will be provided with a “grab and go” school lunch.
- If your child takes medication throughout the day, we have made accommodation for the nurse to transport those to the Field Day location.
- Students must wear their House Shirt or a school uniform shirt. Athletic pants (no leggings), or shorts (school uniform length; no shorter than finger-tip length) may be worn. Athletic shoes must be worn; sandals, Crocs, and flip flops are not acceptable Field Day attire. Students who are not in appropriate Field Day attire will not be permitted to participate.
- It will be warm, so be sure your child applies sunscreen that morning and send them with extra for reapplication throughout the day. You may also opt to send an extra change of clothes with your child; additional clothing must be Field Day or school uniform appropriate attire.
