For the Month of October - Dancing with the Shadow
With October's theme, Dancing with the Shadow, we’re exploring the importance of honoring the shadow and embracing our whole selves exactly as we are. One of the most powerful yet challenging ideas we teach is that we are whole, perfect, and complete as is. Many of us struggle with this because we’ve been conditioned to equate perfection with flawlessness and to believe that positivity is the only “spiritual” state. Shadow work invites us to discover, embrace, and integrate the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden, rejected, repressed or feared. These are often shaped by past experiences, traumas, and cultural expectations about what is acceptable. When we ignore these aspects, they can erupt in painful ways, often when we least expect it. This journey is a celebration of our shadow through dance and integration.

The Undie Fundie!
Fundraiser for Packaged Underwear
Sometimes the simplest things can make a meaningful difference. CSLCS is partnering with Westside CARES to collect a much-needed basic necessity: new underwear for our neighbors in need.
From now through Sunday, October 25, we’re collecting new unopened packaged underwear for men and women. Not sure what size to buy?
We’ve made it easy:
Buy the size you wear!
Please bring your new unopened packaged underwear donations to the Undie Fundie collection basket in Celebration Hall.
Let’s come together as a community to provide something practical while offering comfort, care, and dignity to our neighbors through Westside CARES.
Help us fill the Undie Fundie bin! Every package makes a difference.

Share Your Time & Talents!
We’re always looking for volunteers! Volunteering is a wonderful way to get involved, meet others, and share your unique gifts with our community.
We currently have opportunities to serve in Youth & Family Ministry, the Bookstore, Announcements, and the Welcome Center.
Interested in learning more? Please see Michelle Fein. We’d love to have you join us!

B-I-N-G-O spells F-U-N
...and we need a few more good people to help keep it that way. Our Bingo nights are one of the most joyful fundraisers we host — full of laughter, friendly trash talk, and the occasional victory dance — but they don't run themselves. Behind every called number and every "BINGO!" shout is a volunteer making it happen.
If you'd like to be part of the crew, reach out to Richard or Wes - or contact the office - to get connected and let you know what nights are coming up.

Center for Spiritual Living, Colorado Springs offers weekly and monthly opportunities to connect with your spiritual community. Join us for Bingo, explore spiritual practices, and walk away with practical tools and principles to support your personal and spiritual growth. |
