RPAC TRUSTEES MEET WITH GOVERNOR PILLEN

On Wednesday, October 1st, Nebraska REALTORS® RPAC Trustees met with Governor Jim Pillen to discuss one of the most pressing issues facing our state, housing affordability.

We had a productive conversation about the current challenges Nebraskans face in finding affordable housing and what steps are needed to meet housing demand across the state. From workforce housing in our rural communities to affordability in our growing cities, REALTORS® are committed to being part of the solution. We look forward to continuing this important partnership to ensure every Nebraskan has access to housing that fits their needs.

2025 MARK OF EXCELLENCE APPLICATION NOW OPEN

Congress has failed to pass a proposal providing funding for most government operations. Therefore, spending authority for most of the government expired at midnight on September 30, 2025. Until legislation providing for funding is signed into law, many offices and programs of the federal government are now shut down. This means many, but not all, government programs, including some that impact federal housing and mortgage programs, have been suspended or slowed due to the lapse in government funding. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requires each agency to have contingency plans in place.

The National Association of REALTORS® Staff will continue to update the link below as they receive new information regarding how relevant programs and agencies are expected to operate during a shutdown.

HBAF PHONE-A-THON WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

The HBAF Phone-a-Thon raised a grand total of $6,050! What a huge accomplishment for the Home Buyer's Assistance Foundation!

This will give HBAF the funding to continue to support first-time homebuyers with the $250 My1stHome Grant. The dollars raised will fund 24 grants!

For every $25 donation, donors were entered in a drawing to win Husker Football Tickets to the October 25th game donated by REALTOR®, Molly Parde of NP Dodge Real Estate.
