Summer is Sensational!

Summer 2012

Today is July 4TH and being a Bay Area canine, one ventures up to Napa for the celebration! The beginning of summer really begins July 4TH and having a picnic overlooking the Napa Valley with friends and canines is the perfect way to celebrate! Niblet, my Pomeranian, visits Napa regularly and on his last adventure he had a picnic at Husic Vineyards overlooking the magnificent valley and shared a lovely time with his friend Gioia, a Kent's Kanines Model at Villa Mille Rose in Oakville.

My blog, Diary of a Dog Groomer is still great fun. There are videos of groomed dogs including Havaneses, Italian Spinones, a three legged Pomeranian, a Yorkie with half a jaw, hand stripped Norwich and Fox Terriers and some examples of "Summers Do's". Click here.

I have also started a feature on Diary of a Dog Groomer called San Francisco Scenic Video. The Bay Area is truly so gorgeous and I am so fortunate to be able to travel throughout many of the counties of the Bay Area driving from client to client so, I thought I would start taking some videos and sharing them with you.

Since my last Kent's Kanines Newsletter, two of my most treasured Kent's Kanines Models have passed away. Giovanna, 'Gio", an Italian Spinone who was absolutely magnificent and darling Tanti, a precious Coton du Tulear that I groomed his entire life. I miss them terribly. Please see Tribute to Giovanna and Tribute to Tanti on Diary of a Dog Groomer.

The comments keep coming in to my Blog saying how grateful people are for home grooming and that they love looking at my portfolio on my website. That they adore all the photographs of all the different breeds that I groom. The number one question is: "How did you get them to be so still?" " I guess you must be the Grooming Whisperer!"

Have a great summer!
