A Note from Dr. Scott
Dear Archway Trivium families,
There are innumerable beautiful moments in the final week of a school year. I am grateful for them all, but I wish to share some highlights from our 5th grade’s last days at the Archway. They received a special gift at the promotion ceremony. They received a copy of C.S. Lewis’ The Last Battle, the final installment of the Narnia series. In the final chapters of the book, variations of the phrase “further up and further in” are repeated. I love this line in all its forms. It is an invitation to more fully invest, to more deeply connect, to raise our view and through all this to become something greater. Thank you all for choosing to come further up and come further in during this academic year. Please continue to do so together as a family until we meet again in August!
Heartily Devoted,
Dr. Clay Scott
Headmaster

Archway Trivium Summer Reading Challenge
Archway Trivium is sponsoring a Summer Reading Challenge for Kindergarten through Fourth Graders. This is not a mandatory program and participation is not required, we just want to promote a fun way to encourage reading over summer! We will have a reading celebration for the participants with popsicles and an extra recess sometime during the first quarter of 2023-24 school year. Reading logs have been sent home with all scholars this week.

Thank you to the PSO and the Miramontes family for sponsoring a DeGiNo Coffee Cart for our teacher work day. It was greatly appreciated!
THANK YOU to everyone that has given so far this year. Our donors make all the difference in ensuring we can balance our operational budget each year! If you have not yet set up a tax-deductible gift to support our school, it’s not too late!! Your giving goes to the HEART of supporting every operating expense at the school and bridging the funding gap we have as a charter school. Help us finish our year strong. What has the last year been worth to you? The teachers have poured time, energy, love, and devotion into our scholars. Let us help make sure they are aptly rewarded, and we end our Community Investment Campaign with a BANG, just as they put into their teaching! (HINT: watch the video!!) A gift of any size makes a difference. Please visit bit.ly/ArchwayTriviumCI. If you have any questions, please contact our Family Giving & Community Engagement Officer, Annann Hong, at (773) 307-6779 or ahong@archwaytrivium.org.

The Parent Service Organization is looking for passionate volunteers to round out their team this coming school year. If you are interested in leading an event, sharing your ideas, participating in a committee, volunteering in any supportive role around campus, or if you'd simply like to get more involved and you're not exactly sure how, contact us to find out more!
It's true! It takes a village. Because our school community is so wonderful, we're building teams early in support of our teacher appreciation rockstars, Ren Faire committee, Son's Adventure Day, Run the Virtues 5k race, lunchroom support team, uniform exchange, Dancing with Daughters, Spirit Wear presales, and more!
Have questions or want to learn more? Reach out to Kimberly Alvidrez at psopresident@archwaytrivium.org.
