2021 SpectRUN 5K Trail Run and .5K Family Walk/Run

This is one of a kind fundraising event for CARES the whole family will love. Trail runners can enjoy the thrill of Meeks Mountain while our families have the option of walking or running the paved path around Hurricane City Park!

All proceeds go towards helping CARES fulfill our mission to support children and families who are affected by autism.

Drew's Day raises awareness and support about the Mountaineer Spina Bifida Camp, Inc and is dedicated to the memory of Andrew Humphreys, who passed away in 2006 due to complications of spina bifida. Andrew and his family were strong members of the community who believed in the long lasting benefits of this camp.

Enjoy the beautiful overlooks, rhododendron tunnels, waterfalls, cliffs, bridges and always amazing scenery. This run filled months before the race in previous years!

This unique short course race series is geared toward beginner and intermediate riders and families. Take advantage of all the lower Kanawha River Valley has to offer! Take on this new spring challenge to stay motivated with your running and walking!

Route #1 - 125 Miles (2.08 Miles/Day)
(Parkersburg, WV to Morgantown, WV)

Route #2 - 250 Miles (4.16 Miles/Day)
(Morgantown, WV to Parkersburg, WV - Roundtrip)

All registered participants will receive a long sleeve shirt hoodie (with an option to upgrade to a rain jacket) as well as a commemorative finisher medal.
