Jefferson County moved to Level Clear on May 16th, per JCPH’s Public Health Order 21-001. Would your business like assistance with vaccinating staff? Can you host a clinic for customers or the community?
Jefferson County Public Health wants to ensure that COVID-19 Vaccinations are accessible and equitably distributed across our county. An important part of this effort is partnering with local businesses to offer vaccinations to their staff, customers, and communities. Our team is available to discuss options, come up with individualized vaccination plans, and help with communication needs. Multiple mobile teams are operating in Jeffco and have the capacity to run 3-5 mobile locations across the county each day. These mobile teams are completely self-contained and arrive on site with all equipment, signage, supplies, and staff needed to run either indoor or outdoor clinics. Vaccination is available to anyone 12+ with parental permission and the sites can offer both Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. No ask is too big or too small – we vaccinate from 2-200 people at a time and can design a site that would work best for your location. If your business would like assistance with vaccinating staff or can host a clinic for customers or the community, we would appreciate hearing from you. Please email Marius Nielsen at mnielsen@jeffco.us for more info. Thank you!

Colorado Revolving Loan and Climber Loan
The Colorado Revolving Loan Fund provides loans that help small to medium-sized Colorado businesses negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. These loans range from $5,000 to $750,000. These loans are intended to provide startup and working capital that will help create and retain jobs across the state of Colorado. The maximum interest rate is 10%, and the expected average interest rate of these loans is 4%. Loans may be character-based and may have terms up to 20 years based on the type of loan. This fund prioritizes socially and economically disadvantaged businesses and non-profits. We will work with community-based organizations to reach people, and extend effort to assist and qualify these types of businesses including using non-traditional underwriting criteria such as character-based lending and providing bi-lingual support where possible.
These loans are funded by the US Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration and is administered by these Colorado-based nonprofit lenders:
- Colorado Lending Source
- Colorado Enterprise Fund
- Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado

The CLIMBER (Colorado Loans to Increase Mainstreet Business Economic Recovery) Loan Fund is a statewide program that will provide up to $250 million in working capital loans to Colorado small businesses through 2023. It will promote small businesses recovery, save jobs, and help support the Colorado economy. Lenders, CDFIs, credit unions, and nonprofit lenders can participate and provide loans for their small business customers needing financial assistance. Small businesses with 5-99 employees that were financially stable before the pandemic but now need help to survive may apply for working capital loans between $30,000 and $500,000. Below-market interest rates and a 1-year deferred payment option make the program a secure recovery option for small businesses.
