Although our contamination is getting better, please remember to remove the produce stickers from your fruits and veggies as they are not compostable.
No produce stickers, please.
Plastic bags and Hot Pocket containers are also not compostable.

  • Brown compostable bags will soon be available at all Orangetown libraries.

  • New large green transfer bins, with an easy locking system, will soon be available for purchase.
‌
Need more FREE brown compostable bags? Please visit our Highway Department at 119 Route 303, Orangeburg, NY from 7 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday.
