The Massachusetts Senate passed S.2543, An Act strengthening health care protections in the Commonwealth, or Health Care Shield Act 2.0, June 26. Now it moves to the House Ways and Means Committee. 

This groundbreaking bill improves and expands the Abortion Shield Law passed in 2022. It strengthens privacy, data protection, and legal safeguards for both individuals and entities involved in providing, facilitating, or promoting reproductive and gender-affirming health care services in Massachusetts.
