Fifth Grade Persuasive Speech Winners

We are so proud of these fifth graders for researching local nonprofit organizations, and spending weeks crafting persuasive speeches for their peers. This week, the speech winners were announced after a peer and faculty vote. Congratulations to Mia for winning first place for JAG Productions, Abigail in 2nd for Vermont Center for Ecostudies, Cayden in 3rd for Friends of Mascoma Foundation, and Coraline in 4th for Cape May Raptor Banding Project. We’re looking forward to continuing this service effort, and congratulate these awesome students for their hard work and words of persuasion!

Library News & Birthday Books

Greetings from the library! It's been a very busy fall and winter re-opening our space after a year-and-a-half COVID pause. We've taken this opportunity to revamp our resources, expanding the early reader science and chapter book offerings and adding new shelving and comfy seating for younger readers.
