On Stage
The 2020-21 Studio Ensemble have been deep in recuperation, dance classes, and acting workshops for the past two weeks, all while getting ready to jump into rehearsals for Paradise Lost next week.
Paradise Lost

by Erin Shields
facilitated by Yvette Nolan
composer Amanda Trapp

“Extremely funny and stingingly contemporary.” -The Toronto Star

Erin Shield’s fiercely engaging, irreverently funny and deeply moving Governor General’s Award nominated play inspired by John Milton’s epic poem takes us to the depths of hell. The fallen angel Satan is plotting her revenge against the Almighty with a devious plan to corrupt his two newest creations, Adam and Eve. This witty, engaging, and moving feminist play is a fresh retelling of one of humanity’s biggest quandaries, the battle between good and evil. “Not your grandmother’s archetypes.”
Stay tuned - livestream tickets on sale next week!
Congratulations to Yerma
We wanted to send a hearty congratulations to the cast, creative team, volunteers, and staff who made our first production in the CCPA Performance Hall under the guidelines of the Provincial Health Authority a roaring success.

The College learned a lot about creating and producing in this new normal and we're excited to bring these lessons to Paradise Lost.

The program will include a live movement class, a live Q&A, and an introduction to the upcoming ‘Company C’ Studio Ensemble production Paradise Lost. Registration also includes exclusive livestream access to Paradise Lost so you can see our students in action.

As space is limited, we take an RSVP list through the fall and are able to confirm participation approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.
