Youth Activity Boxes

We get it. Sometimes our youth listen better during worship when their hands are busy. Each week, check the back pew (on the stained glass wall side) for our stack of youth activity boxes.

We've got fidgets, scratch art, friendship bracelet materials, coloring, and more. Just have them return it before they leave!

Permission Slips

It's that time again - time to fill out permission slips!

Our annual permission slips cover ALL our events for the year except for overnights, which will require a specific permission slip for that night.

Stay in the Know

While I try to stay on top of monthly email newsletters, sometimes ministry (and life!) gets busy. PLUS, sometimes things come up or last minute reminders are helpful (am I right?!). We utilize the text messaging feature through Constant Contact, and if you've offered your cell phone number, I've got you on our delivery list.

If you notice you're not receiving texts, be sure to check your spam folder in your text messaging system (who knew that existed?) as they often drop in that inbox instead. It's generally coming from (260) 666-3251.

Youth Sunday School

Youth Sunday school kicks off again SHORTLY! (I need to confirm with our teachers to make sure we're all locked and loaded for the year with a new curriculum.)

Youth Sunday school meets Sunday mornings at 9 am in the classroom in the Cove where we meet for youth group (room 405 - blue couches).

Mentors

Incoming 6th grade parents: we're excited to get your students paired with a mentor! Keep an eye out for a mailing soon with more information.

Other parents: if your student does not yet have a mentor but is interested in one, let me know!

The role of mentors is to provide an additional adult in your child's life throughout their middle and high school years. This is someone at the church who knows your child's name, is interested in their success, and will touch base/get together with them from time to time.

Youth Group

Youth Group meets most Sunday nights and follows this format:

5:30 - 6:30 PM: Middle School

6:30 - 7 PM: Community Time

This includes snack, hang out, and time for socializing and connecting.

7 - 8 PM: High School

Fall Kick Off will look slightly different (check out the graphic above), and I'll always post in the calendar if things look different. We'll occasionally offer dinner for the kiddos (like at Fall Kick Off), but generally it's just a snack.
