Today, on Transgender Day of Visibility, we honor the strength, joy, and resilience of trans and gender expansive people across Texas.
At a time when harmful legislation, misinformation, and public attacks continue to target trans communities, it’s more important than ever to be clear: trans people are not political talking points, they are our neighbors, our friends, our family, and our loved ones.
At Texas Pride Community Foundation, we don’t just stand in solidarity. We invest in it. We intentionally prioritize transgender people, especially trans people of color, in our grant making to ensure resources reach those most impacted and too often overlooked.
Visibility is powerful but it must be matched with action.
We invite you to:
Show up – Attend a Trans Day of Visibility event in your community and celebrate trans lives.
Give back – Make a donation to support critical, community-led work across Texas.
Speak out – Help counter misinformation and uplift the truth of trans experiences.
Together, we can ensure that trans communities are not only seen but supported, protected, and thriving.
