JFS Needs Baby Formula!
Due to the current nationwide baby formula shortage, JFS Orlando has distributed a high amount of formula to families in need in the last few weeks!

Although manufacturing has started again, it will still take several weeks for new supplies to hit shelves. Help us continue to bridge the gap for those most vulnerable in our community.

If you have any extra unexpired cans or even samples you’ve never used, please drop them off M-Th (8am-5pm) to JFS Orlando at 2100 Lee Road, Winter Park, FL 32789.

Thank you!
Applications Still Available

FSP is offered at no cost to participants.

The Power of Giving:
Filling the Gap in Senior Transportation Needs
Janice was living in senior living apartments and on a tight budget. She had vital doctor appointments coming up, but she didn’t have a car anymore and was struggling to find reliable and affordable transportation…until she learned about the JFS RIDE (Reliable Independent Drivers for the Elderly) Program.

Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando (JFS Orlando)’s RIDE Program is a one-of-a-kind service that arranges round-trip rides to medical, grocery, and other essential appointments for qualifying, low-income seniors or disabled adults. Transportation is door-to-door and scheduled at the client’s convenience by a licensed and insured service. Program participants are entitled to two free roundtrip rides a month within a ten-mile radius of their residence.
Not only does this service address the senior transportation needs in our community, but it increases independence, promotes well-being, and improves access to healthcare.

“It was a gift from the heavens. It saved our lives!” shared Janice.
Last year, JFS arranged 755 rides through the RIDE Program. However, the need is even greater. Currently, due to the success of the program, the 67-person waitlist is closed to new clients. The demand has never been clearer, and the RIDE Program has proven to be a unique opportunity to meet this need.
Help JFS Orlando’s RIDE Program meet the increasing needs of our senior and disabled communities.
