You might think change is hard to wrap, but you can give it this Christmas!
Every week I get to sit down and hear incredible stories from the families that are impacted by donors like you.
Families like Brittany, the mother of two young children, who faced difficult choices when she came to Nicholas House. She had no job, no car, was separated from her husband, and found herself confused, depressed and with little self-esteem. Her case manager helped her find an apartment for her and her children, and helped her create a plan and supported her as she worked to meet her goals.
Today she is a Nurse Assistant, with a new smile, and a heart filled with dreams for her family’s future. When asked, she reflected: “Who would think I could do this?”
I hope that each story can be an encouragement and reminder that when we work together, we can end the cycle of homelessness for families.
Thanks to generous contributions from individuals like yourself, we had the resources to help Brittany with her housing costs while she found a job and provided case management to help her put her future story into action.
