100 Days of Prayer, Fasting & Advocacy

For the Benefit of our Nation

MSBT Sisters join with other congregations of women religious as members of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) for The Next 100 Days of Prayer, Fasting & Advocacy for the benefit our nation. We have selected Sunday, September 27, the feast day of St. Vincent de Paul, for our particular day of commitment. We invite YOU, our family and friends, to participate on that day, or any other days you choose, from now until election day, November 3, 2026.

Together we commit to:

• PRAYER for our country, our leaders and our people during this time,

• FASTING from actions, words and thoughts that are aggressive, judgmental or demeaning, and

• engaging in ADVOCACY for the poor and vulnerable.

Join us for an MSBT FUNdraiser

Please join us for a fun evening out on Saturday, November 14 to benefit the mission and ministries of the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity. Live Cabaret & Comedy Entertainment, Dinner, BYOB, Raffle Baskets and more! Don't miss this fun evening out for a great cause.

Historical Film Series
from MSBT Archives

Welcome to our premiere episode of a new video series from the MSBT Archives. Recently, a number of short films from the early years of our community's history have been converted from 16mm into digital format. Film projectors are increasingly hard to find and maintain, so we had no way of knowing what was on these old films until they were converted.

This month, we feature the shortest and likely the oldest of the films, perhaps from early 1930s. It is silent, black and white, and about three minutes long. In it we get glimpses of Holy Trinity Alabama, both ST and MSBT missions. Our Founder, Fr. Thomas A. Judge, CM, makes a cameo appearance at the end. Who is this debonair-looking man in the white straw hat? If you can help us identify any of the people, please comment below the video on YouTube. To watch the video click the image below.

Presenting: Film #28

Hearts on Fire
Vocation Conversations

Discerning the call to religious life takes place over time, within the context of community. Those discerning a call to religious life enter a process of prayer, exploration and growth. The MSBT offers virtual vocation conversations through a series called, Hearts on Fire.

These virtual vocation conversations are for young, Catholic women who are exploring the possibility of entering religious life. The gatherings are held over Zoom on the third Thursday each month. Each sessions includes a brief presentation by an MSBT Sister followed by shared reflection and conversation with fellow discerners.

September's theme is Walking on Water: "Can This Really be Okay? What Happens if I sink? What Happens if I don't try? Discernment means looking at your "what ifs" without flinching. Let's take a look together."

If you know a young, Catholic woman exploring a call to religious life, please share this opportunity with her.

The Pope's August Prayer Intention

For Evangelization in the City.

Let us pray that in large cities often marked by anonymity
and loneliness we find new ways to proclaim the Gospel, discovering creative paths to build community.

Thank you for your continued support
of the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity.

Thank you for being a Friend of MSBT.

Our mission is the preservation of the faith in those areas and among those people who are spiritually neglected and abandoned, especially the poor, and the development of a missionary spirit in the laity to

be a power for good.
