Facilitators/Trainers News & Updates

We are proud to highlight our newly certified facilitators/trainers from Arizona!

OWLS is very excited about our partnership with Healthy Arizona Worksites Programs (HAWP) and the Arizona Department of Public Health. Since June (2022) we have been advising on mental health and resilience initiatives for workplaces that have joined HAWP to promote wellness.

In addition, we have helped with a Mental Health & Resilience Community of Practice (see recently recorded webinars) and trained over twenty trainers to deliver "Resilience to Thriving."

We are excited to announce that the program's first cohort of facilitators has been certified. Certified trainers (highlighted on our website) go the extra mile to deliver the program, collect data, and share their experiences. Please congratulate our new facilitators below.

Lisa Mainieri, MPH, MSW

Employee Wellness & Engagement Coordinator for the City of Chandler.

"After years of “de stressing” it was wonderful to partake in a workshop that focuses on the neuroplasticity of our brains to redevelop/re-train how we react and respond to stress. These are key functions all of us have and we can thrive when we put them into practice."

Amy Blackburn-Martinie,

Human Resource Generalist

Human Resource Generalist for Solari Crisis & Human Services.

"I realize the importance of recognizing your own stressors and how to handle those stressors in ways that lead to a thriving lifestyle and am thrilled to be able to share these concepts with others."

Dianna Scaccia, MS

Independent health coach and professional wellness trainer for the Healthy AZ Worksites Program.

"Once aware of the innate way our brains respond to stress as a function of survival, it was empowering to participate in a workshop that focuses on retraining our brains to react and respond so it leads to thriving versus surviving."

Michele Hamm, Ph.D.

Founder/Owner of BridgeWell Consulting LLC.

"I know I am at my best when I focus on my own wellness practice and put that front of mind. The opportunity to participate in Dr. Bennett’s course and apply these concepts in various workplaces is exciting and empowering."

Resilience and Thriving Virtual Facilitator Training in collaboration with the National Wellness Institute

NEXT COHORT STARTS FEBRUARY - LIMITED SEATING!

Access to materials opens January 31.

Feb 7 & 14 are the live Zoom dates for the course.

Many wellness practitioners are asked to deliver training or coaching in resilience and thriving. To meet this need, the National Wellness Institute (NWI), in collaboration with Organizational Wellness Learning Systems (OWLS), offers a facilitator certificate with evidence-informed tools and competency-based training. Participants will learn a new system integrating NWI’s Six Dimensions of Wellness model with stress, resilience, and thriving. The slide deck, facilitator notes, handouts, book, and other tools provided in the training can be used in their workshops, training, and coaching activities.
