National Bike Month

May is National Bike Month, a nationwide celebration of the many health, safety, and environmental benefits of bicycling. Communities across the country kicked off the month on May 6 with Bike & Roll to School Day, where more than 2,165 schools encouraged students and families to safely bike and walk to school. Learn more at WalkBikeToSchool.org. The celebration continued with National Bike to Work Week from May 11–15, and National Bike to Work Day on May 15, inspiring commuters to swap car trips for bike rides. Residents are also encouraged to join the Love to Ride Challenge by logging their rides at LoveToRide.net/USA. For additional National Bike Month events and resources, visit BikeLeague.org/Events/Bike-Month/.
