COMMUNITY SURVEY COMING SOON!

CAPITAL INVESTMENT

COMMUNITY SURVEY

To better understand which capital improvements and investments matter most to Casco residents, the Town has partnered with the Greater Portland Council of Governments (GPCOG) to conduct a community engagement process, including a Capital Investment Survey that will be released in the coming weeks.

Your input will help the Selectboard and Town staff to understand your priorities, values and willingness to support future investments in the Town of Casco.

When the live survey link is posted, we encourage all residents to take a few moments to share your perspectives.  Your feedback is vital in helping the Town chart a responsible and community-driven path forward.

BULKY WASTE & TRANSFER STATION

TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGES

Lane re-striping was completed on May 14th. To improve traffic flow, the Transfer Station has now reverted to the original, pre-renovations entrance and exit.  Residents will enter the facility and choose one of two lanes as they drive through the facility:

  • Stay in the left lane if you only have trash (no recycling)
  • Stay in the right lane if you have recycling to drop off before moving to the main trash hopper

Please take note of the new entrance/exit and lane signage before entering the facility and proceed with caution during this transition.
