2026 Offering for 2027 Missions
Statewide Goal: $825,000
Eight Days of Prayer:
September 13-20
| | |
You’re invited to the Kansas City Residency Builder on September 9-10! This workshop will help you discover, develop, and deploy leaders from within your church. To advance the Gospel, we believe that we need many more laborers for the ever-growing harvest. Leaders in the church aren’t just born – they are developed. At this event, we’ll teach you how to discover leaders already within your church body, provide resources to develop them within a residency program, and how your church (no matter the size or financial status) can adopt a residency program that best suits your church and needs. You’ll walk away with a robust residency plan for your church.
This event is completely FREE and includes meals, swag, and plenty of resources that you’ll get to take home and use to create your own residency program! If you are from out of town and would like to attend, we’ll even provide a hotel room for you!
Date: September 9th at 1:00pm to September 10th at 3:00pm
This is a 2-day event! We’ll begin at 1pm on the 9th and we’ll come back together on the 10th until 3pm
Location: Northside Fellowship – 4513 N Jackson Ave, Kansas City, MO 64117
Register: This event is FREE, but registration is required.

Invitation to Great Day of Evangelism Saturday, Oct 24th
Spiritual awakenings in the United States have often resulted from a small group of individuals earnestly desiring to see God move on their hearts and communities. That’s why we’re inviting every Missouri Baptist church to gather in their communities on Saturday, Oct. 24, for One Great Day of Evangelism. One Great Day is an event inspired by the Southern Baptist Convention’s Crossover, which occurs on the Saturday before the SBC Annual Meeting.
In Missouri, we want churches from around the state to host intentional outreach opportunities in their own communities, even as the churches in the St. Charles area do so prior to the MBC Annual Meeting.
Just as our churches are unique, we anticipate the outreach efforts to be unique. One church may decide to host a block party with bounce houses and face painting, while another hosts a car show, and yet another may decide to host a free car wash for the community.
Regardless of the outreach event a church chooses to host, the goal is for church members to be equipped to engage in gospel conversations with those who are present. Imagine the impact of hundreds of MBC churches all hosting outreach events on the same day, with church members engaging in thousands of gospel conversations!
Whether you host an event on Oct 24 or within a week or two of it, we want to invite your church to be a part of One Great Day of Evangelism.
Let’s watch what great thing God does from a small, obedient beginning!

Our mission
Our mission is to equip local churches to mobilize lay ministry teams to help people hurting because of a major life crisis.
Our vision
*To see churches help hurting people heal through the use of GriefShare, DivorceCare, Single & Parenting, and DivorceCare for Kids.
*To see churches engage in effective outreach and grow numerically as they consistently offer GriefShare, DivorceCare, Single & Parenting, and DivorceCare for Kids to their communities.
*To see nonbelievers realize that apart from Christ, they will never experience complete healing from the pain of a major life crisis.
Find a Grief Share group in your area. The button below takes you to FBC Warrensburg, but there are others also.
| | |
Church Planting Like a Missionary will equip church planters to faithfully engage their city, make disciples, and plant healthy churches. God wants to work in you so He can work through you, your leadership, and your church plant.
The course will help you to:
• Understand the importance of deeply engaging with a city
• Cast clear, compelling, and kingdom-focused vision
• Build a strong missional community
• Implement systems that sustain discipleship and growth

We are a high-energy rock band with a passion for ministry and student outreach. Blending powerful rock anthems with pop influences, we create original music that inspires, uplifts, and speaks to real-life struggles. Our mission goes beyond the stage—we travel to public schools across the U.S., using music to spark conversations about self-worth, mental health, and perseverance. We often host community outreach concerts for these students, where we share the Gospel and connect them with local churches. Through music and ministry, we’re reaching the next generation with hope, truth, and the love of Christ.
