is OPEN!

Andy Gipson, Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce, welcomed one and all to the 159th Mississippi State Fair Wednesday evening!
It was a great opening night, but if you missed it, do not despair because there are ELEVEN more
days of fun, food and entertainment.
Please be sure to stop by the Biscuit Booth, located on the west end of the Midway, and get a free scratch-made, fluffy, hot biscuit
filled with syrup. Delicious!
Fresh Savings at the MFM
T he Mississippi Farmers Market offers
AARP's Fresh Savings Program to
customers each Saturday
from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The program allows SNAP-eligible
participants to earn $20 extra to spend
on fruits and vegetables
if they spend an initial $20.
THE FARMER'S TABLE
The Farmer's Table is located at the Mississippi Farmers Market. It is open Tuesday through Friday from
7 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. - until. The restaurant serves dine in or carry out breakfast and lunch.
