Dear Families & Friends,
I am not sure what words to use to describe the year 2020. It truly has been a challenging and tumultuous time for all of us. Watching so many people around the world lose their life to a deadly virus to the amazing healthcare workers giving so much to care for our loved ones and the researchers developing a vaccine in record time.
Yet so many are still struggling to put on the food on the table, pay their rent or mortgage or the uncertainty of having a job to go to.
The children stricken with neuroblastoma and their families face these same realities year after year. And how do we help them? We help them by funding critical research, providing our parents and caregivers with the necessary tools and information to make informed choices and to advocate for them and bring about more awareness of this disease.
CNCF has awarded more than $2.5 million in neuroblastoma research at hospitals and institutions across the country. For 18 years we have provided a forum for parents to meet and talk with some of the top neuroblastoma scientists in the world developing the current treatment regimens for the children.
We provide family support so they can attend our educational conferences as well as relieving the burden of expenses to receive potential life-saving therapies.
Our Parent Handbook was the first of its kind that walked the parents through a diagnosis of neuroblastoma.
All of this is provided because of wonderful and generous people such as yourselves. Company matching gifts have a two-fold impact of initiating and sustaining research with potential breakthroughs. Corporate sponsorships guarantee the family support at our conferences.
Your dollars play a vital role in what we can provide for these children and their families. Please give generously so we can offer hope to the thousands of neuroblastoma patients fighting for their lives right now.

Have a Happy Holiday and even better New Year.
Sincerely,
Pat Tallungan
President of CNCF
