FW: Summary of CDC September Updated Guidance

As many of you know CDC posted the following updated guidance on Friday, September 10, 2021: Interim Infection Prevention and Control Recommendations to Prevent SARS-CoV-2 Spread in Nursing Homes (Nursing Homes and Long-Term Care Facilities) Interim Infection Prevention and Control Recommendations for Healthcare Personnel During the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic Interim Guidance for Managing Healthcare Personnel with SARS-CoV-2 Infection or Exposure to SARS-CoV-2   This is a brief summary of the updates prepared by SPICE.   NC DHHS is currently updating their guidance as well and will post when updates are complete.   In addition, SPICE and NC DHHS will host a webinar on September 21 from 12:00–1:00 pm to review the updates and try to address any questions you may have. Additional webinar information will be forthcoming.
