Bluegrass BBQ Fundraiser a Huge Success

The weather was HOT, the food was delicious, and the music was jumping! Our third annual Bluegrass BBQ event was a roaring success, thanks to the overwhelming community support and our fantastic event organizers and volunteers.

CCEH raised nearly $64,000 through sponsorships, food sales, and donations. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success! We can't wait to do it again next year: albeit with some milder temperatures...

We want to say a HUGE thank you to each and every one of our volunteers at this year's Bluegrass BBQ!

Whether you greeted guests, helped with the food, assisted with the set up and take down of the tents and tables, or you were in one of the fabulous bands: THANK YOU!

We could not do this work without each of our wonderful volunteers!

In July, CCEH's longtime board member and past board chair, Rev. Michael Leuchtenberger, cycled off of our board.

In his nine years serving on CCEH's board, Michael shepherded CCEH from an all-volunteer organization into a strong and thriving nonprofit. Michael's compassion, thoughtfulness, and quiet strength will be greatly missed, but he has promised he will stay involved in CCEH in the years to come. Thank you Michael for everything you've done for CCEH!

As of June 30th, 2022, CCEH, in collaboration with our partner agencies, has secured housing for 16 individuals coming from homelessness. We initially anticipated housing ten people for the entire year, so we are well above our goal and we'll continue the momentum.

We are making great progress with our outreach and data collection work, in our partnerships with other organizations, and with our housing solutions. It is so energizing for everyone at CCEH to see and experience the positive outcome of our work.
