In Christ Alone

In Christ Alone: Each quarter of school we have a Keys to the Kingdom Bible verse. Our students learn this verse, talk about this verse in class, and they also receive a key tag with the verse on it. Each year they receive four of these tags in K-8 and by the end of their 8th grade year, they will have accumulated 36 Keys to the Kingdom! This quarters verse is from Matthew 1:21, "She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." This is a popular verse that is heard around Advent and Christmas, but no matter what season of the church year it is, it points us to Christ. He has saved His people, including you, from our sins through His death and resurrection. In Christ alone we are saved! Thanks be to God that our students hear this wonderful message every single day in school.

Serving in Worship: The Seraphim Choir (grades 5-8) will be singing in church this Sunday, October 11. Please have your child(ren) to church and ready to warm-up by 9:10am. The full choir practiced in the balcony for the first time yesterday and it sounded amazing!
