Camp Stepping Stones seeks cash and in-kind support for 2025

We are deeply touched by the heartwarming feedback from parents and caregivers of the incredible campers who attended Camp Stepping Stones this year.

Camp Stepping Stones is a grief camp for children aged 7-17 that provides a safe space for healing and connection for children who have experienced loss of a loved one.

We are already planning for next year and we need your help to ensure that no child has to grieve alone. Together we can provide them with the support and community they need to heal.

If you know of a business, individual or organization in your community that might be interested in supporting Camp Stepping Stones, please let us know! We can provide you a sponsorship package and additional information about what the camp needs (hint: it’s cash and in-kind support).

The impact is incredible

One mom shared some heartfelt feedback about her son's experience at Camp Stepping Stones:

“On the way home, he said 'I am happy.' This is the first time I have heard him say that since his Dad died.”

These touching words inspire us to keep growing and improving our camp.

To learn more – and read more messages from caregivers – please check out the 2024 Camp Stepping Stones impact report.

Thank you to Interlake Eastern Health Foundation executive director Averill Stephenson for sharing this info.
