Dear MAFP Members:
This week, the Mississippi State Department of Health has announced COVID-19 vaccination sites around the state. They are only available for health care personnel (nurses, physicians, emergency medical services, technicians, pharmacists, dietary and food staff, environmental services staff and others) and Mississippians aged 75 and over.
You must make an appointment to get the vaccine. We encourage you to make an appointment today using the website: covidvaccine.umc.edu. You may also call 1-877-978-6453.
Here are the locations and dates for vaccinations for the rest of this week. Each site operates from 9 am to 4 pm.
Wednesday, January 6:
Health Departments in the following counties: Jackson, Jones, Lauderdale, Madison, Oktibbeha, Panola, Pike, Washington
Thursday, January 7
Health Departments in the following counties/locations: Adams, DeSoto (Hernando), Jones, Lee, Leflore, Lowndes, Rankin (Trustmark Park)
Friday, January 8
Health Departments in the following counties/locations: Forrest (Lake Terrace Conv. Center), Harrison, Lafayette, Oktibbeha, Panola, Pike, Rankin (Trustmark Park), Washington
