Listen to the story of Max and Bird
Make your own bird!
Friendship
Max is a kitten who wants to befriend a bird. But cats chase birds and sometimes even eat them! Watch the video above to see how Max and Bird become friends.

  • How do you think Jesus wants us to treat our friends?
  • What do friends do for each other?
  • Tell an example of a way you have been a friend to someone.
  • How can you solve a disagreement with your friends?
  • Max and Bird were different in many ways, but they were friends anyways. Are you friends with people who are not like you?

In the craft video, Children's Education Director Mary Beth Tipton discusses Matthew 23:37 and demonstrates how to make a bird of your own out of a cardboard tube. What kinds of adventures will your chick enjoy? Send us pictures!

We miss seeing all of our Church School families and hope all of you are healthy and safe. Please reach out to us with any needs. CSMSG services are available daily via Facebook Live and the Sunday service is posted at csmsg.org by 10 am each Sunday.
