September 2025

School calendar start dates may vary, but September typically marks the beginning of the back-to-school season.

Capital campaigns for schools are a crucial means of raising funds for tangible projects, such as new construction or significant renovations. They may take several years, but they all end the same way, with a thank you to donors.

Acknowledge your donors in a prominent, permanent, meaningful work of art that continues to inspire giving.

Donor Walls

for

Schools

Archmere Academy

Claymont, DE

This donor wall was inspired by the school's name, Archmere, which came from an arch shaped break in the trees that created a view of the Delaware River.

Our project features a 9-foot-high by 36-foot-wide ceramic tile mural depicting trees on campus, with the arch as its focal point in the center.

Major donor names have been sandblasted in the water area.

Other levels of giving are listed on text panels, laminated digital prints mounted to acrylic with a laurel wreath border tile, symbolic of victory and achievement.

Our Lady of Good Counsel High School

Olney, MD

This ceramic tile mural forms the entrance to the school's Performing Arts Center. It features a series of five arches that represent the school's Xaverian values: Simplicity, Humility, Compassion, Zeal, and Trust. Within each arch is an image that epitomizes that value.

Simplicity

Humility

Compassion

Zeal

Trust

Surrounding the arches is a landscape that transitions from Spring to Fall, featuring trees with symbolic meanings to Catholicism and the school community.

The names of top-level donors were sandblasted into the grass areas of the mural; additional levels were listed in the yellow band below.

Additionally, the project included an educational component.

Good Counsel's Art teacher visited the studio to learn to make tiles and molds.

Students participated in a design contest, and the winning design was translated into tiles and is featured in the gold band.

Tile Making & Mold Making are now part of the art curriculum.
