Happy 2019 from all of us at Swirl Wine Store

Black Market Collusion 2017

A terrific white Bordeaux style blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.

Round mouth feel with a nice weight on the palate. Grassy Sauvignon Blanc notes are balanced by flavours of white grapefruit with notes of tropical guava and pineapple. Bright and mouth watering acidity make this wine very enjoyable with plenty of complexity and layers on the finish.

Bonamici Pinot Grigio 2017

New release from this Okanagan Falls winery. 2017 vintage has a luscious mid-palate and is boosting fresh flavours of canned pear and pomelo on the palate. Crisp and clean acidity finishes wine with pleasant and long lasting citrus flavours with a hint of white peach.

Arrowleaf Summerstorm 2017

Brand new sparkling wine from Arrowleaf Cellars,100% Zweigelt. Mouth feel is light and refreshing with bright strawberry and rhubarb flavours. This wine is true charmat style sparkling, fruity and enjoyable. Nothing too complex going on here, just fun and delicious wine for any occasion!

Sperling Brut 2011

A classic method sparkling wine made with 100 % old vines Pinot Blanc. This wine was aged 60 months in lees. This vintage won Platinum at Lieutenant Governor's 2018 Wine Awards. Palate is filled with yellow apple, Asian pear and citrus notes with soft creamy undertones of light toffee and a hint of briny minerality. This wine truly is a tribute to an organic, biodynamic farming with a great attention to small batch wine making.

Bench 1775 Cab Franc 2014

Grapes were sourced from Osoyoos and 2014 vintage produced ripe and well balanced grapes. This wine is not overly heavy and the palate is filled with delicate floral and herbaceous notes with darker notes of black raspberry and creamy dark cocoa. Finish is strong with great acidity balanced with chewy tannins.

Indigenous World Wines Syrah 2016

Grapes come from Monarch vineyard in Osoyoos. 2016 was a bit cooler year and this Syrah comes with a fantastic nose. Aromas of blueberry, lilac and ripe raspberry literally jump out of the glass. Tannins are smooth and well integrated with some help from 18 months ageing in french oak barrels. Pretty flavours are balanced with some black pepper and toasty notes on the finish.
