  Art Newsletter - October 2022

I am participating in this year's Open Studios Tour a free self-guided tour of over 150 Boulder County artists' studios. My doors are open Saturday and Sunday, this weekend and next 12 - 5. My ceramic and bronze artwork will be on display and available for purchase in my studio and throughout my house. In addition to the opportunity to view some of the best creativity of Boulder artists, this is the chance to get up close and see work in progress. At my studio you can discover why Raku firing is so exciting and you can see the steps involved with lost wax and bronze casting. Open Studios is an educational event. I will share highlights from over forty years of my artist's path.

More of my work can be seen at two excellent local galleries: R Gallery 2027 Broadway; Boulder, CO and  The Walnut Gallery - 364 Main Street; Longmont, CO.

The Walnut Gallery is doing Second Friday Art Walk on October 14, from from 6pm, featuring live music, beer and wine from the bar, and artists in attendance. Mark your calendars for a fun, art-filled evening.

My website: www.tomcannonart.com, has examples of my bronzes, more clay pieces, and a description of the thirteen years that I was emerged in the world of Japanese ceramics. Hopefully, you will find it interesting, and inspire you to acquire  artwork from me. Please free to share this newsletter with friends and family. Looking forward to seeing you during

Open Studios this weekend and next.
