“You are an exemplary man… You are such an amazing asset to our state and nation… You are the only one that even remotely captures the true story of what is happening. It’s such a privilege to call you my friend and mentor.” – Travis Seegmiller, Utah House District 62

Alex Newman
The Deep State has been using the supreme court to dismantle America and our civilization for generations, and this Roe vs Wade issue is sending the Deep State into a frenzy, explains The New American’s Alex Newman in this episode of Behind the Deep State. Learn how the Deep State has weaponized the judiciary; the U.S. supreme court in particular to promote the murder of babies, the destruction of the family, and the breakdown of Christian civilization. Also in this episode, Alex explains what we the people can do about it.

The United States Has Committed Numerous Acts of War Against Russia
The United States has committed numerous Acts of War against Russia this year. This is not a value judgment. I make no claim here about whether the United States has acted wisely, or has acted with justification. I simply note it. And the world may now be tumbling into an interlocking cycle of escalation beyond control and foreseeable consequences, just as it did in 1914.
That the United States has committed Acts of War in no way justifies Russia’s actions; neither is it to say therefore that World War III and nuclear war have become inevitable, though Russian state media are openly speculating about the real risk of these. Countries often commit Acts of War against other countries, and no war breaks out when the offended party chooses for whatever reason not to respond. But they can respond, and that is the point here.

Biden DOJ sets up a new 'Office of Environmental Justice' -- headed by another fanatic
As if we didn't need yet another government agency in this age of behemoth federal spending, the Biden administration has saddled the U.S. with a new one, the Office of Environmental Justice. The $1.4 million monstrosity will be buried within the U.S. Department of Justice under the authority of U.S. associate attorney general, Vanita Gupta, who set up the new bureaucracy-enforcer arm. It will be headed by one Cynthia M. Ferguson, whose title is acting director. And you can bet it's going to be a problem.
According to the Washington Examiner:
"The Justice Department is launching a new Office of Environmental Justice, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced on Thursday, which will seek to redress health risks from climate change faced by minorities and low-income people in the United States.

A Farewell to Psaki - Circling Back on Jen's Greatest Hits
Biden Administration Press Secretary Jen Psaki is out the door, leaving to take a job at—you guessed it—MSNBC. Hardly surprising because as we’ve said around here often, much of the mainstream press corps seems to be nothing more than an extension of the Democratic Party. She’ll be right at home at MSNBC, where not even Fox News’ Peter Doocy will be able to ask her tough questions.

The Unhappy Political Marriage of Joe and Kamala
The steady stream of leaked stories against Kamala Harris reflects buyer’s remorse among powerful Democrats. Regretting that she was chosen as vice president, these Democrats don’t mind letting authors and journalists now know about Biden’s ambivalence toward her. New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns have a book coming out soon, This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future, based on such leaks.

Exposing the Media’s Big Lie About Elections
For the past year, journalists have dishonestly claimed that the fight over election reform in Congress is a struggle over “voting rights.” Specifically, they allege that Republicans have been trying to rescind the right to vote from some portion of the electorate.
The notion that the debate in Congress has anything to do with protecting or diminishing Americans’ freedom to vote is a flat-out falsehood.

Babies and Adults Literally in Danger of Dying as Empty Shelves of Specialty Formulas Plague US
According to a CNN report Monday, many stores across the country are unable to stock baby formula, and parents are sounding the alarm.
In April, the data collection firm Datasembly found the out-of-stock rate for baby formula in the United States had surged to 31 percent. For comparison, the rate stood between 2 and 8 percent during the first half of 2021.
Many of the baby formula supply problems stem from an Abbott Nutrition plant in Sturgis, Michigan. In February, the company announced major recalls of its products following complaints that four infants contracted a bacterial infection from baby formula made at the facility.

Elon Musk Starts Week Off Right with 8 Words Bound to Make Liberals Melt Down
Elon Musk did not mince words Monday when asked about the bias of Twitter gatekeepers who allow extreme views from the left while muzzling conservatives.
Musk was asked about a tweet that showed support for an attack on a Wisconsin pro-life group’s office.
“Twitter obv has a strong left wing bias,” Musk replied. Musk then said Twitter should reflect the laws where it operates, not make them
“Like I said, my preference is to hew close to the laws of countries in which Twitter operates. If the citizens want something banned, then pass a law to do so, otherwise it should be allowed,” he tweeted.

Graphic Content: Audience Gasps as Ex-Abortion Doctor Describes What Procedure Is Really Like
Warning: Just the description is enough to turn one’s stomach. It did mine. The following text and video are not for the squeamish.
Levatino said he’d first use a suction catheter to remove the amniotic fluid from around the baby.
He then picked up a Sopher clamp and described it to lawmakers.
“It’s about 13 inches long,” he said. “It’s made of stainless steel. The business end of this clamp is about two-and-a-half inches long and a half-inch wide. There are rows of sharp teeth. This is a grasping instrument. When it gets a hold of something, it does not let go.”

Paralyzed Man Unable to Communicate, Then Scientists Put a Chip in His Brain but Nobody Expected These 4 Words to Come Out
Thanks to the wonders of science, a paralyzed man who cannot speak is able to communicate with the world once more — and now, it’s Miller Time for him.
According to a March report in the U.K. Independent, the unnamed man — who is in a “locked-in” state due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s disease — has been able to talk with his caretakers using electrode arrays implanted in his brain, a major first.
One of the thoughts he has relayed? “I want a beer.”

The Coming Food Shortage Crisis
Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO) recently warned: “You can find different numbers on this, but roughly 25% of all the wheat exports in the world come from Ukraine and Russia. About 20% of all the corn exports in the world [and] 90% of the sunflower cooking oil comes from there, and a lot of fertilizer comes from there, right now from Ukraine, which is the bigger partner in that food distribution of the two countries.”
Blunt then observed: “And nothing is coming out of Ukraine. Nothing is coming out of the port at Odessa. Nothing is coming out of the port at Mariupol and hasn’t since the Russian invasion began.”

Roe v. Wade Through the Gender Theory Looking Glass
The news of the week can be difficult to understand if we look at it from only one side, so let us take a look at the abortion issue through the lens of leftist gender theory, that intricate, sophisticated, web of intellectual ideas that leftists use instead of reality.

Aborti-Mania: The Perfectly Planned Meltdown
Just as a wave of crucial midterm primary elections kick off around the country this spring, the conveniently scheduled leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade became America’s new weapon of manufactured mass distraction.
Left-wing abortifa agitators descended on the Supreme Court steps in Washington, howling, “Fascist scum has got to go.”
Unhinged TikTokers called for “riots,” “gas” and “torches”; “burning it all to the ground” by targeting “all those old white men and the women who support them”; and “mayhem in the streets” that will dwarf the “global protests around George Floyd.”
One prototypical Hollywood feminist, Amanda Duarte (a self-described “barren, child-eating sex witch”), tweeted her fantasy involving the “little white daughters” of pro-life “white supremacist lawmakers” getting “raped and impregnated by black men.”
The aborticrats are not just nuts. They’re evil.
An “anarchist collective” is now instructing women (yes, all of sudden, the left has discovered that biological women are really a thing) how to concoct “do it yourself” abortion pills with horse ulcer powder, corn syrup, and confectioners’ sugar. (Yes, these are the same types who made it a punishable offense to talk about alternative COVID-19 treatment ivermectin, the anti-malarial drug used safely for three decades around the globe by humans and animals.)

The Left Has No Values Other Than the Struggle for Power
Life is a miracle. Its sacredness is the first of the self-evident, unalienable rights that a newborn America declared to the world. It is the basis on which all other rights depend, for without life, any and all political rights are meaningless.
Many in this benighted age want to affirm all kinds of rights of children against their parents — just survey the rights given by school boards, legislatures, and courts to children to free them from parental supervision even before they come of age. Yet they will not affirm the most basic of rights. They do not hold life itself miraculous and sacred, but subject it entirely to the power of someone else.

Against the Segregation, Torture, and Murder of Babies
I have spent the morning in one of those children’s hospitals where hundreds of doctors go out of their way to save the lives of little ones, superheroes battling cancer, premature babies, minors who have suffered serious accidents, or children who cling to life until their last breath after being infected with some deadly disease. On this floor, there are no doctors or nurses. There are angels who not only pull their little patients from the threshold of death towards life, but also embrace their tiny hearts to give their struggle meaning, working overtime to provide psychological support and care to their desolate parents.

The Countless Failures of Big Bureaucracy
Ludwig von Mises’ Yale University Press classic Bureaucracy explains in a relatively few pages the difference between public and private-sector bureaucratic management. The private sector can measure what is going on in large hierarchies of bureaucracy below its CEO simply by asking whether each unit is making a profit. The public sector has no equivalent measuring device.
This basic structural disadvantage is further hampered by the environment in which the bureaucracy must operate. The top levels of democratic governments must be elected by a population unfamiliar with administrative details and must vote based on what they can see.
Officials must deal with this electorate as it is and give people what they think they want rather than what they need. Neither the executive, legislative, nor judicial branches can see into the bureaucracy any better than career leaders. At the same time, U.S. bureaucracy itself operates under dual civil service and union personnel shields where almost no one is fired or disciplined.
How do even our best bureaucracies work under these constraints? The U.S. Navy primarily needs ships, and in the 1990s its leadership realized air and assault vessels had been designed for open-ocean warfare and would be vulnerable in shallow coastal waters like China’s. The first smaller littoral combat ship produced to meet that need was not launched until 2006. Now, 15 years later, the Navy announced that it must retire nine of them, one of which was commissioned less than two years before, and the others had “major propulsion issues.” The Navy-friendly Wall Street Journal called this “arguably the services’ biggest acquisitions failure of all time in a crowded field.” The editors could only recommend more money and back to the drawing board to solve a 30-year inability to effectively confront America’s most dangerous foe.

Dr. Ron Paul: Biden’s Ministry of Truth has dark origins in history
Former congressman Ron Paul recently commented on what he called “the dark origins” of the Biden administration’s so-called Disinformation Governance Board.
While speaking on his Liberty Report Thursday, Dr. Paul said American history knows examples of suppressing free speech, which includes censorship during Woodrow Wilson’s presidency. He added, at that time America had been dragged into a global war because of restrictions on free speech.
“The bigger the government and the more likely to have an empire, the more the lies because truth is treasonous in an empire of lies,” stated the former congressman.
Dr. Paul asserted that Democrats want to bring back censorship merely to achieve their political goals.
“It isn’t that you can’t do it, it’s just that if you don’t do it there way, have a board and have AOC, a few others and Nancy Pelosi decide what is truth and what is not, then that’s when you really have problems,” he remarked.
Dr. Paul also said the American people are capable of thinking for themselves without the government telling them what’s true and what’s false. VIDEO

Rules for Conservative Radicals
The left has mastered the art of the pressure campaign. It's time the right learned from them.
Organize Right is a regular column with not so much a beat as a meander on the subject of organizing: how the right does it, how the left does it, lessons from its history, and its implications for today.
After progressive activists pushed Disney to speak out against Florida’s new education law, conservatives turned new ire on the Mouse.

Picasso’s Blue Period
The strong should go ahead and take what they want: Such a quasi-Nietzschean maxim is dynamite in the head of an impressionable young person, and that is what Pablo Picasso (1881–1973) likely heard while in his late teens. Living in Barcelona, the most cosmopolitan city in Spain, the teenage student-painter hung out with a circle of avant-garde artists and writers who gathered at a local tavern, Els Quatre Gats (The Four Cats).

The Gregorian Revolution and its Consequences
It has been noted that historians are creatures professionally invested in change. We should therefore suspect them when they speak of revolutions, reformations, and renaissances. If pressed to stake my professional reputation on the most significant revolution in the history of Western Civilization I’d put my money on the Gregorian Reform movement (c. 1046-1122/and beyond…)

The Price America Is Paying for Rejecting God
Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi claim to be practicing Catholics, yet they and their fellow leftists have worked unrelentingly to drive God out of America's schools, government and public square. When Pelosi stands at the speaker's rostrum, a sign above her reads, "In God We Trust." With Biden as president, Pelosi as speaker and Democrats in control of Congress, that sign should read, "In Government We Trust."
The actions of the left would be easier to take if their consequences were limited to the left, but this is not the case. All Americans suffer as a result of their perfidy. Actions have consequences. The actions of the secular left in pushing God out of the culture have resulted in tragic consequences. This is the message in our new book "TRAGIC CONSEQUENCES: The Price America is Paying for Rejecting God and How to Reclaim the Culture for Christ" (discounted at faithfultext.com, also available wherever you buy books).

The Anatomy of a Wave Election
CARLISLE, Pennsylvania — It was called the political storm of the century. It would end with the largest single turnover of power in American history — and one for the ages.
It was fall of 1894. People were still feeling the effects of the Panic of 1893, which had shut down most of the economy and plunged the nation into a catastrophic recession, with every segment of the country in a world of pain. Farmers were disgusted with the cost of wheat; laborers were desperate for jobs and higher pay.
The biggest punch of all, the Pullman Strike, had caused a massive, nationwide boycott of all trains that carried Pullman passenger cars. It pitted labor against the company, the press, the federal government and President Grover Cleveland, a Democrat in the beginning half of his second nonconsecutive term in office.
When Cleveland called in the U.S. Army to quell the strikers, the die was cast for his party.

The Divine Measure: Changing the Culture of Death
The Roe v. Wade decision of January 22, 1973 was one of the worst legal decisions in the history of the United States. But the thought preparing the way for it was centuries in the making, and the decision characterized an emphasis on choice that continues to unfold.
The decision reflected the sexual revolution of the 1960s, but it also shaped American culture in the decades afterward, both for those who gradually, more or less unthinkingly, accepted its premises, and for those whose increasingly articulate opposition has characterized the stance of the Church.
Certainly, resistance to Roe v. Wade went into the founding of Wyoming Catholic College. Dr. Robert Carlson wrote in the Philosophical Vision Statement that, “The occasion for founding Wyoming Catholic College is a crisis of disintegration we now face in Western culture, especially in education.” (PVS 7). He goes on to quote W.B. Yeats’s poem, “The Second Coming,” in which Yeats writes that “the center cannot hold.”

White Kids Can’t Read Either
Even allegedly traditional supporters of public schools are recognizing just how horrible its offerings are. Let’s look at the numbers.
I was driving down the freeway the other day when I did a double take at a billboard rising from the side of the road. It’s blaring message read, “40% of white kids in MN can’t read either (at grade level).”
That such a message was on a billboard shouldn’t have been a surprise. My organization did the same thing roughly seven years ago—in fact, we were the first in the state to highlight how bad the education system is via billboard.

Canceling Student Loans Is Bribery and Inflationary
Few Americans today pay back the welfare benefits they’ve received. The great bulk of them, I suspect, lack the means to do so, and for those who become financially successful such a though
t probably never enters their mind.
Which brings me to Joe Biden’s 1.6 trillion proposal to cancel student debt. “Not only will plumbers be paying for the educations of rich lawyers and activists with junk degrees, everyone will be paying for it through higher inflation,” Monica Showalter writes at the American Thinker.

NYC to Become First City to Legalize Recreational Homicide
n an exclusive interview with SNN political editor Whattda Helle, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg stated that beginning June 1,2022, recreational homicide will be legal in the city of New York.
New York City, by Daniel Mennerich, flickr.com.
Mr. Bragg defined recreational homicide as a homicide committed while not in the perpetration of a crime.
For instance, if you kill a clerk while robbing a bodega, that is a classic homicide and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. However, if you were to kill a guy who disrespected you in a club, that would be a case of recreational homicide and would not be prosecuted.

Biden Repeats False Claim He Once Had An Abortion
Just days after making an accurate, fact-based claim that MAGA was "the most extreme political organization in recent American history," President Joe Biden fell back into his habit of making false assertions about his past, this time claiming he had once had an abortion.
"Back in the, around the, in the 1970s when I was a, you know, a young, single black woman, I had to make a choice between keeping or killing, or killing or keeping the where was I, the dead child, or you know putting food on the table," claimed the real President behind a fake lectern in a fake press room with fake windows on the set of a fake White House.
