Estero Parkway overpass to close for maintenance on November 1

The Estero Parkway overpass over I-75 will be closed to all traffic for maintenance by Lee DOT from noon Friday, Nov. 1, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, weather permitting.

Detours will be in place directing drivers to alternate routes. The primary alternate route will be Corkscrew Road. Pedestrians and bicyclists are advised to avoid the area during the closure period.

The bridge remains safe but must close during the maintenance project because it includes work on the bridge structure to enhance safety and extend its service life.
