Waveny-Visiting Nurse & Hospice Celebrates Dedicated Volunteers

In appreciation of the nearly 600 dedicated volunteers who serve throughout our network, Waveny-VNH hosted several events in celebration of National Volunteer Week. From coffee to donuts to ice cream, we were proud welcome our volunteers and honor the 12,000+ hours served on our New Canaan campuses, at the New Canaan Thrift Shop and throughout lower Fairfield County. Many thanks to the New Canaan Board of Realtors for their support of these events. Cheers to all of the volunteers who provide comfort and care to our residents, patients, families and staff!
Honor a Nurse Today

Nursing is more than a job—it’s a calling. Ask any Waveny LifeCare Network nurse, and they will proudly tell you what it means to selflessly think beyond their own needs to serve others. For our more than 250 nurses, even when a shift ends, compassion and concern for their patients continues.

We have embarked on our Spring Campaign to support our nurses in their life’s work. Please consider joining us with a gift today as an opportunity to say “thank you” to a nurse who has given so much of themselves to help you, our patients and our community. Click here to make a donation today.
